Getting Grants for Woman Owned Businesses? - sba grants for women
I'm trying to start a business and want a legitimate way to find grants that are available to find. There are many websites that promise great things, but I think they make money through the sale of currently available information.
I do not know where you can find this information, since has tried in all these other sites.
I know there must be a way to obtain this information. without paying some Bozo in a lot of money, the clown costume. Where can I find?
I appreciate any help you can give me on the subject. I also know that there are opportunities and SBA loans and everything, but the question is where to find the grants.

It is hard to find grants to start a business. Contrary to the myths that some perpetuate, federal government and also do private foundations that do not provide money for scholarships to start a lucrative business.
A possible exception is for companies developing or exporting agricultural products, including food and forest products. Another exception could be the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs ... http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/, funding research and development of technological innovation, the government meets certain requirements.
The best way is actually the states if they offer scholarships for women. Or check out the non-profit organizations, including women, while organizations that offer scholarships for women.
Examples include
Iowa Women's Foundation http://www.iawf.org/

However, you can download the catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) and http http://www.cfda.gov Grants.gov:/ / Www.grants.gov - they are two sides of the covenant established to ensure transparency and information about grants. Scroll through the list and see if you admit that a non-profit companies-would find support.
Even SBA does not grant. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/mostrequesteditems/CO ...
"It is the United States Small Business Administration provides grants to start or expand small businesses, although a variety of loan programs offered. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA several support programs offers, they are strengthening the rule to the development and organizations that provide small business management, technical or financial assistance. These grants generally support non-profit organizations, credit institutions and state and local governments.
Here is a list of federal resources for small businesses. See, if you are for people who are available to start a business - THERE IS NOT.

Able for private grants, you would like the Foundation Center Foundation grants to individuals online check http://gtionline.fdncenter.org. This is a web-based subscription ($ 9.95/month), but their propaganda is only saying that opening the database for "students, artists, scientists, libraries, and is ideal financial assistance offices.
